We have been to BRAVO for dinner a couple of times and we have been very happy with that (you can see a review here). On a Saturday in June 2023 , we stopped by for a quick lunch and as the weather was beautiful, we decided to dine outside on their small patio. The menu is similar to the evening menu with a few dishes and snacks. We ordered the steak tartare and the catch of the day to share.
We started with the steak tartare served with wild garlic mayo and pumpkin seeds. The wild garlic (ramsløk) was harvested locally and was turned into a delicious wild garlic mayo, the seeds were toasted and had a lovely nutty flavor and it was topped with pretty wild garlic flowers from Brimse gard . We also got some great bread from Sirkus Renaa on the side – life is good.
The catch of the day was a piece of pan fried ling in a butter sauce, topped with some roe and herbs from Brimse gard . Chef Daniel forgot to top this dish with hazelnuts but the dish was great even without the topping. We would have loved to stay for more food – and drinks but on this day, we had to wrap it up early. Conclusion is that Bravo is also a great place to stop by for lunch as well!
